Homepage / Probecom Low Earth Orbit (LEO) antennas
Probecom Low Earth Orbit (LEO) antennas are precision engineered to be intrinsically reliable and low-maintenance, provide stable, high throughput links to LEO and MEO constellations. Designed to work in open air without a radome, could provide a high pointing accuracy. Systems range from 0.75 meters through 13 meters, designed to deliver dependable performance and ruggedly built to withstand the most extreme environments.
LEO satellites orbit between 2,000 and 200 kilometers above the earth. LEO satellites are commonly used for communications, military reconnaissance, spying and other imaging applications. Most of the man-made objects orbiting earth are in LEO.
Low Earth Orbit satellites require fast and accurate production rates to meet the demands of satellite constellation launches. Antennas are essential sub-systems integral to the high-speed data through-put of these intricate communications networks.
